GPS RW5 record format

Postby greynolds » Fri Aug 14, 2015 1:34 pm

Hi
Does anyone have a key to reading the RW5 file with GPS records. I have looked at the knowledge base and all the files do not have all the variants of the GPS record. I would like to translate the following record including the comments:

Line 1 - GPS (type of shot recorded), PN1001 (Point number),LA (Latitude in dms),LN (Longitude in dms), EL (Ellipsoid Height at receiver phase center), descriptor
Line 2 - GS (not sure),N (northing of shot point based on coordinate system initially setup or localized), E (same as northing), EL (elevation of point), descriptor
Line 3 - Not Sure
Line 4- Number of valid readings that meet the horizontal and vertical tolerances set in the data collector
Line 5 - Number of readings that had a fixed solution
Line 6 - Max and min northing measurements of the ten fixed shots
Line 7 - Max and min easting measurements of the ten fixed shots
Line 8 - Max and min elevation measurements of the ten fixed shots
Line 9 - Average northing based on the 10 fixed shots along with the standard deviation
Line 10 - Average easting based on the 10 fixed shots along with the standard deviation
Line 11 - Average elevation based on the 10 fixed shots along with the standard deviation
Line 12 - Horizontal root mean squared with corresponding statistical data
Line 13 - Vertical root mean squared with corresponding statistical data
Line 14 - Horizontal Dilution of Precision
Line 15 - Vertical Dilution Precision
Line 16 - Positional Dilution of Precision
Line 17 - Number of Satellites tracked at time of shot
