Survstar not working

Anyone have experience with SurvStar GPS software issues? I am having a
problem: Some days/Times-of-days it works, but mostly I get the monitor
message: AUTONOMOUS. Please reply

Dan,

We've been using SurvStar on Husky's with Ashtech for years with very few
problems. What type of receivers do you have? The only time I see
"Autonomous" is when I first take it out of the truck or standing under a
tree or beside a building...

Check your radios we use a different hardware/software setup but, when ever
we get the Autonomous message it's been a problem with the radios or radio
cables. Basically when ever you get this message it means that the base
station and the rover are not talking.
