White Loader Screen

I'm using an Explorer I that won't boot. I was using it in the lab, getting ready to upload some data, when it stopped responding. I finally got it turned off, but then it wouldn't boot again. I get the White Loader screen, then nothing. The loader version is 0.9.16.

I contacted tech support, they recommended the procedure in this article

However, it wouldn't boot off the cf card.

Does anyone know any additional tricks for booting from the card or does this just mean it is fried. Any idea what causes this problem? Am I definitely looking at a repair job?

If you were unable to resolve the white screen issue, then you will need to send the unit in for repair. Reinstalling the OS is the only thing that you can do on your own. Your collector may have more serious issues and need to have a new harddrive installed.
