textmask

I am running the command "textmask" on Carlson Survey Intellicad 2010.

After I "Select entities:", I choose the text to be masked, the prompt "Offset <0>:" appears. I accept the default and the command puts the mask almost center bottom. I did an undo and then changed the offset to 0.2, same thing happens. Then I change the justification for the text and nothing happens either.

Any suggestions? I wonder if this feature (in Intellicad) is not up to the ACAD level yet.

If you are looking for an even offset all the way around the text, try Middle justification.
