Unfortunately not at this time. Please send your inquiry to support@carlsonsw.com so I can have it added to the list of features to be put in a later build or version. Thank you.

You can try the lisp routine available from DotSoft. It is in the free section of the site:

To load a lisp file for a one off or occasional use you can just drag-and-drop from a file explorer window onto the Carlson Intellicad window.

Review the thread at http://update.carlsonsw.com/phpBB2/view ... torder=asc for some ideas of how to have it automatically available each time you start the application.

Note this routine make a comparison between the current string and the last string to determine if a line break should be inserted. This means if the last string selected is repeated and you do want line breaks inserted it will not insert line breaks as expected... For my purposes, it works great as is.

I saved the file here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Carlson Software\Carlson2012\ICAD\SUP

then I opened an existing drawing and typed "txt2mtxt" and it replied unable to recognize command... did not recognize in a newly created project either.

It works when I drag and drop, but I would rather have it whenever i need it... it was a common command pre-iCAD

I also tried saving it here:

C:\Program Files\Carlson2012_ICAD\LSP

that did not work either... AM I MISSING A STEP? HELP?

I just saved the LISP to my desktop for the time being.

Under the IntelliCad menus, select "tools" "Load LISP or SDS App"
Then find the file.

It does need to be loaded everytime a new drawing is opened.....

this is how it was explained to me (and it works):

Put the TXT2MTXT.LSP file in a directory you create...

I will call it C:\CAD\Lisp so you have C:\CAD\Lisp\TXT2MTXT.LSP

Create a file with a text editor like notepad (not a word processor) that contains the single line:

(load "C:/CAD/Lisp/TXT2MTXT.LSP")

Make sure to put the ( ) and note I used / and not \

For Carlson 2012 with ICAD6.6 save the file as ICAD.LSP in
C:\Documents and Settings\greg\Application Data\Carlson Software\Carlson2012\ICAD\SUP

where the "greg" part will change to whatever your user name is on your machine.

Good luck.

4, a whim of the boss one day he visited a factory, I watched saw a staff are working hard to bow my head with.
He walked over, patted the shoulder of staff said: "do it now! I used to like you."
Staff looked up, smile, and hand patted the big boss on the shoulder, said: "You can do it now! I used to like you."
