Problem scaling points

I'll start by saying that I am very green to Carlson, but have previous experience a few years ago with Agtek and Topcon systems.

I am importing points from a text file with latt/long coordinates (NAD83(2011)) base coordinates from MnCors. The points import but are at the wrong scale. They are very tiny with the annotation being huge. It doesn't matter what scale I set to. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
