Crash

Postby catsailr » Thu Apr 28, 2005 3:47 pm

I'm having a problem with my laptop crashing when I try to move a block.
When I select the block and then click for the displacement point within the
block, the program crashes and I receive the following error:
Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0004 Exception @ 644fc88dh

If I click the first point outside the block, I can move it but the block
doesn't move until I click for the new point. This makes it hard to tell
where the block actually is until the move is completed.

This doesn't happen on my desktop and moving works as it is supposed to.
Both computers have Windows XP Pro with service pack 2. The laptop is an HP
Pavilion 8000 with 1GB ram, 3.0 Ghz, pentium 4. The desktop is a Dell 2.6
Ghz, with 512 MB ram.

Cat,
I've been thinking about this one and I think you should try checking
your graphics hardware acceleration settings. Make sure you're set to none.
Call if you still have difficulties.
