Drawing preview lockup

Postby Michele » Wed Jan 19, 2005 9:59 pm

I am running C&G 6.10.01 on Windows XP Pro with an HP 450C Designjet on a
network. I have a problem with certain plot previews crashing the program.
Seems to be totally random; I get ready to plot, try to have a look at the
preview, and everything locks up. I have to use the task manager to shut
C&G down. After it happens once, I can never preview the drawing again. I
have tried to audit and restore drawings, but no errors are found, and I
can't fix the drawing. Tried to save as a new drawing to see if that would
fix it: nope.

Any words of wisdom?

Michele,
I have not been able to duplicate the problem myself, but I have spoken
with someone who has seen it. His solution was to copy everything in the
drawing and paste it into another. I hope this will work for you. If you
still have problems, just give me a call.
John
