Description Tables, Symbols and Layers

Postby Mark Wager » Tue Jan 25, 2005 8:58 pm

I am using CGSurvey for Autocad, XP Pro. The problem I am having:
Using description table with cg00 block, no problem...
assign node to layer(road) pt# goes to pnts layer, desc goes to desc layer,
elev goes to elev layer. When working on road, I can freeze other layers and
nothing shows up.

However, when using a symbol (light pole or traverse point) and seperate the
layers, telling desc to plot on desc layer etc., and freeze other layers, I
will have pt#, desc, etc. for control points show up when only "working" on
light pole or drainage layers.

Does this make sense? Is there a work around or what am I doing wrong?

Mark,
You might need to call me on this one. It sounds like you're doing
everything right and I can't reproduce the error.
