CG-Survey ver 4.40.20 for DOS upgrade to windows XP

Our surveyors laptop died this week. We have replaced it with a new laptop
running windows xp. I am experiencing some of the same problems referenced
in other posts with a lock not being recognized and the program only running
in demo mode.

I have installed the rainbow drivers recommended in one of the other posts
and it still does not work. Are there any other things I can try?

which part of the program are you having troubles with? the dos program
works fine for us in windows xp as long as we don't use the rainbow driver.
but if you need to hook the data collector up to the program with the stupid
screen picture you can email me about how to get that to work.
