Carlson Survey 2004 points all set to same elevation!

Postby Mark Ware » Tue Dec 28, 2004 8:09 pm

I almost always have to translate and rotate my topo onto a record boundary
at some point. What I usually do is decide which monument I want to hold,
then translate the monument and the rest of the topo to the record location.
Then I decide on the rotation and do a similar thing. Very often somewhere
in this process all of my topo points end up with the same elevation! I
leave the "process elelvations" box unchecked. Is this a bug or am I doing
something wrong?

thanks

Mark, I tried to duplicate your problem here but was unsuccessful. Are you
running the latest build for Survey 2004 available for download at
http://update.carlsonsw.com/updates.php? If you want, send me a drawing
along with the crd file that this is happening in. It seems like I have
encountered this problem sometime in the past but I simply can't be
positive. Anymore I am lucky to remember yesterday.

Happy New Years,

Barkley
