I think I need the VPCLIP command. I have a large viewport and I want smaller additional viewports on top of it. What I don't want is what is in the "behind" vport showing through the "front" viewport. A quick search online returned the VPCLIP command, which appears to be what I need. I'm not sure, since that command does not appear to be enabled in the embedded AutoCAD that comes with the standalone Survey 2010?

Any thoughts or ideas? :?:

I received this tip from tech support ... I will have a drafter test it out, but it sounds like a reasonable work-around:

The 'VPCLIP' command is not in the embedded AutoCAD engine. The absence of the routine is set by Autodesk. You can try using the 'WIPEOUT' command and placing a wipeout behind the top Viewport. Us the 'DRAWORDER' routine to setup what is behind what. This should do the trick.

Why not use a poligonal VP for the main? Give me a call to discuss.
