topsoil Improt/Export

Brand new to this forum and Carlson takeoff. When I takeoff my dirt qty's including my topsoil strip and replacement I end up with an export of 1500 cyds. of topsoil. If I only change my model to show no topsoil replacement, there is no topsoil export. Why is it not the 1500 cyds.+ the former qty of replacement topsoil? Can someone explain this?
