Erasing Cut-Fill Labels

Postby MIrizarry » Mon Mar 24, 2008 9:23 pm

When I erase cut fill labels it leaves the remains of a "mask" and I can't get rid of it. Is there an easy way to get rid of the mask once the cut-fill number is deleted?

With which routine did you place the cut/fill labels?

try typing tframes, it's an express tools command that toggles the frames on and off for images and text mask. This will allow you to erase the mask by selecting their frames.

2009 will have a built-in automated feature for erasing these labels.

Also, if the labels were placed on a layer with nothing else on it, try "Erase by Layer" and select one of the labels. This will erase everything on that layer in one click.
