AutoCAD compatibility

Can Carlson Civil 2010 be installed and function on newer AutoCAD? Say AutoCAD 2013?

hi,
We are backwards compatible but not forward. So unfortunately, in order to run on Acad 2013, you will need to upgrade your Carlson to 2013 as well.

If installed over AutoCAD, does the "Not a trusted source" warning go away if later opened in AutoCAD?
I know the warning is more scare tactic than legitimate concern, but it's still annoying.
