Profile to 3D polyline

Postby chconstruction » Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:43 pm

I am running Carlson Civil 2019 w/ Auto Cad and had this problem with previous versions. When it wasn't fixed in the 2019 I'm thinking that maybe it's a user error and not a software issue.

I create a profile for a road in Input-Edit Profile File. I have a Centerline File created. I then go to Profile to 3d Polyline and use station by another reference centerline, select line, select CL file and profile file and do not erase centerline. Then when I edit the new polyline there are random vertices that are locked at the incorrect elevation. The roads often have vertical curves so deleting or unlocking the incorrect vertices jeopardizes the integrity of the polyline. Is there a setting that is set wrong that is causing this problem?
