Hi. I’m sure this is pretty basic, but It’s been a few years since I’ve used Carlson and I can’t remember how to move point info (PT#, desc, elev) to a new layer (ex. CONTROL) along with the point. I.E I want all that info in the new layer, to be the colour of the new layer and to remain if I switch off the original layer (ie PNTDESC, etc.). Right now, the point info shows in properties as being part of the CONTROL layer, but retain their original colours and disappear if I turn of their original layer. Thanks.

To change the layer of attributes for existing plotted points try the MODPNTS command... menu Points | Edit Multiple Pt Attributes
