Escape character?

Postby cbnelson » Mon Jan 25, 2021 5:13 pm

Is there a way to have "/" in a text point description?
Ex. IO \\\ 5\8 Rebar Found ---> F2F ---> 5/8 Rebar Found
Thanks in advance!

Try setting up a code for the main point type and one for the size then use the prefix operator in the code like RBF \\ 58

Code RBF has Rebar Found in the F2F description and 58 has 5/8" in the F2F description like so:
rbf.png

and

58.png

to get something like:
f2f.png

You can also experiment with the settings accessed from the "GIS/Note/Point Attribute Labels" button. If you want the point added as an attribute block plus a text entity with the description on a different layer then enable the Description in GIS/Note... and set the Attribute Format to Both.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
