I have one machine running with ACAD, Carlson build 210524 -
When I import a text/ASCII file it runs field to finish on JUST those points in that file. That's the way we want it.

On another machine it is running Built in CAD, Carlson build 210524, same version.
When I import the same text/ASCII file it runs field to finish on the ENTIRE CRD file. Not the way we want it!!

What controls this?

I only have the Intellicad version can't help with the specific problem... As a work-around you can use point groups. I always create a point group for the imported points. It is an option when importing the text files. set Carlson to NOT draw points during import then run F2F using the point group for the source points.

Can someone help us import our .txt or .csv files from the usb key to the Carlson surveyor2 version 6.xxx into .crd?
