So I am setting up all my Field To Finish info....

One thing that really is bothering me is carlson2020 adds "mark" at the end of layers.

So for instance,
code = SSMH
This code should give me 2 layers (V-SSWR-LABL) for the name and (V-SSWR-MHOL) for the manhole lid symbol.

It does the label fine (V-SSWR-LABL), but for the lid/symbol it shoes (V-SSWR-MHOLMARK)

This is consistent will all my symbol layers.

The field to finish is very configurable. This means there are a lot of options. Experiment with the configuration of a single code to build your understanding of the options.

Second symbol... this allows a symbol in addition to the attributed block insert .
